What a fun and creative island I just visited! I’ve been looking for a spooky dream island to visit and stumbled upon this one while searching on Pinterest. It’s called SugarBeach (love the name!) and all throughout the island are, I guess, “scenes”, of horror and suspenseful movies.
Here’s the actual map of the island so you can get an idea.
Now, I won’t lie, there are some movies I haven’t seen so I didn’t visit the entire island. Also, I only saw The Shining once and wasn’t really into it (please don’t kill me). But hey, this just means for anyone reading this, you can visit the island and go check out any of the places I didn’t, as well as the places I did, obviously! It’s a different experience actually going there yourself. π
Love waking up to rain! But I wish I brought a hat or umbrella. Can you use an umbrella when visiting a dream island?! Surely you can, right?
The first movie was Hocus Pocus! I love the dresses and…. wow…. as I’m typing this, I’m realizing that the “pillow” on the stool is suppose to be their spell book. π We love discovering new things over here!
FRIDAY THE 13TH!!! Why, of course! As I was walking over here, I felt like I was back at summer camp….. Camp Crystal Lake, that is!
Too good. Also, I’ve only seen the first and maybe the second movie? There’s so many that I don’t even know which ones I saw. I do, however, really want to watch the one where Jason is in space….. who came up with that idea and why is it the best thing I’ve ever heard!?
I’ve never seen Pet Sematary but this was pretty eerie. This makes me actually want to go watch the movie now!
Ahhhhh a wholesome Halloween moment! πππ» This Peanuts cartoon will forever be a classic. Not to mention that yesterday, I had the face cut out standees of the ghosts on my island. π
Back to not so wholesome…. JAWS π¦π©Έπ«£ (I can hear the suspenseful music playing in my head).
I think this actually might be my favorite movie on the island! For starters, this person did an incredible job setting everything up! I also love that Jaws is not a typical “horror” movie. It’s a freakin killer shark! A great white! That….. actually….. exists. π³ Wait…. why the heck do I like it so much!?! Never mind, I take it back! π
No way, is that…. Annabelle!?! From the Conjuring movies! π±
No but really, I’m such a huge fan of dolls in horror movies, especially Annabelle. I mean, I have dolls on my island all named after allegedly possessed and haunted dolls. What does that tell you!? (I’m not crazy nor would I ever own an actual possessed doll, I swear). π
This was the Phantom of the Opera and it was so…. enchanting! π―οΈ I’ve never seen the classic film, but I’ve seen different renditions of this movie in tv shows and what not.
The Ring! Creepy, awesome, perfect!!!!
This was my last stop…. and this wasn’t on the map so I didn’t expect to see this. πIt made me quite happy since my Day 10 blog post was based on this movie. Nothing else to say expect… yOu’ll fLoaT tOo. π€‘
Please visit this island! It was so fun and really well done! Maybe do it at night time as well…. why not! π
