And just like that, another year has passed! Welcome to 2025. 😎 Let me give you a (not so) little recap of how my New Year’s Eve went!
First and foremost, a visit to the plaza! As they do every single New Year’s Eve, Tom and Isabelle had the countdown and all of the party favors set up! 👏🏻
You probably noticed that there was still a couple of hours left until midnight! Well, the countdown wasn’t the only thing that went on last night. It was time to go party @ Harv’s Island with K.K. Slider as the DJ! How fun. 🤗

Okay, this was pretty spectacular! I felt like I was in a 2000s high school dance party and I LOVED IT!!! 🌟
K.K. Slider was killing it! ✊🏻
And apparently, I was also killing it with my dance moves. 😆

Haha all of a sudden it was Marlo in the middle and we all just started throwing confetti! 😂
K.K. Slider let me go behind the booth! No, I was not a sous-DJ (lol this should be a thing) , but yes, I kept requesting K.K. Disco and Bubblegum K.K. 🤣
And since we’re on the topic of K.K. Slider songs, here are my top 6 songs that MUST be on every New Year’s Eve playlist:

We sure partied hard, but we all wanted to get back to Seafoam 30 minutes before midnight…..
Somehow we made it, and with 35 minutes to spare. 😅

Oh, I forgot to mention! Dobie was the only one who didn’t attend the New Year’s Eve party. Why, you ask? Well, in order for him to be awake for the countdown, he needed to sleep for a couple of hours beforehand. 🤣 So, this meant that he had to miss the party. Gosh, what a grandpa. (I love him!)

I think I mentioned this in my birthday post, but I really am so grateful that I get to celebrate so many things in Animal Crossing! I’m not the biggest celebrator of New Year’s, but it’s become one of my favorite days to celebrate…. in Animal Crossing! 🤪 The fact that I get to party my little butt off without leaving my bed!? I mean, we are in the future. 🤖
I really hope 2025 is a great year for everyone! But also, don’t forget that every year has its ups and downs….. the down parts do not make it a bad year! That’s just how life always goes. 💗

I wore a cute, blue sequin dress! I loved that it had a white shirt underneath…. sparkly and glamorous, yet casual and comfy. 😆 I wore them with some pink mermaid shoes. When I was outside, I added some black tights, and my red gown coat.
