Hi! 🤗 I need to be totally honest — I’ve been SO overwhelmed by this game. I love it and I’m so excited to be playing it, but I had forgotten how many quests you have to complete each day. I kind of feel like a chicken with its head cut off. 😅 I’m also trying to gather my thoughts (and photos!) to able to write these posts to be readable/enjoyable/not all over the place. I guess I shouldn’t be too hard on myself, since this is my second HKIA post after all. Anyways, let’s begin!
We left off the last post by completing the first island mystery quest, and taking the very first Gudetama photo (can’t wait to share all of the others one I took since then!)
Island Mystery Quest #2
Yay, I’m assuming this means we get to hang out for the rest of the day!? 😃
I feel like this happened fairly quick! I kind of wanted to explore this main island a bit more, but I guess I still can when I’m not doing any quests. 🙃
Before proceeding, Chococat had me collect magnets from Badtz-maru and Tuxedosam (just give them a gift and they should give you a magnet in return!) With the magnets, you can create a Power Crystal Sensor, which will let you know if you are close to a power crystal.
Oh, I remember these hidden cave dungeon rooms. 😂
Before we do anything…. we NEED to take a selfie! 📸 If there’s one thing I will be doing in this game, it’s taking photos with everyone and everything! ~mEmOrieS~
Okay, back to this important mission we must complete for the sake of everyone on this island!
This first power crystal is easy to get! You just have to figure out a simple puzzle. Some of them start to get a little tricky as you progress in the game, but this one was easy peasy lemon squeezy! 😉
For the second power crystal, we needed a little help from My Melody, who apparently has equipment to build an entire bridge!?
Way to go My Mels! 🥳
2/3 Yellow Power Crystals collected! Also, what a cute little island with a bunch of cabins that I now get to explore. 🙂

And….. we got the third and final Yellow Power Crystal! 👏🏻 This puzzle was also pretty easy to figure out. Just see for yourself!

Oh, hi TOPHAT! We still don’t know too much about him yet.
So, now that we’ve got that quest completed, I think we should complete the rest of the friendship quests!
Friendship Quests
Hello Kitty had me find any umbrellas that were scattered around the island and put them back on the tables!
Definitely my favorite gift I’ve received so far. I love apple pie. 😋
For this friendship quest, Tuxedosam had me collect clothing stands that were also scattered around the island! Now he can display all of this cool clothes 😎 (and I can buy them).
Done, and done!
