Y’ALL!!! I did not think we would be celebrating another birthday this quick! In the last post, we celebrated Pochacco’s birthday and I remember thinking how cool it is that we’ll probably get to celebrate everyone’s birthday… and now here we are! 🤗 Something else that’s very exciting: we finally meet the mysterious Merry Meadow dweller, and she has the coolest name. I also got to water flowers (it’s a bigger deal than it sounds haha), go fishing with Tuxedosam and Badtz-maru, and witness some of Kuromi’s most entertaining dialogue in this game so far. 😂
Before we dive in, I have to talk about my outfit today. I had no idea that eyeglasses were a thing in this game, only sunglasses! This orange cat eye pair are my first and only so far, and I’m kind of obsessed.
Another thing I’m obsessed with is this adorable Springtime Sakura Clip! I’m also wearing a Pistachio Plaid Dress and a Lantern Backpack! Later on, I swap the backpack for some Violet Kawaii Wings.
Magical Mailboxes

Welp, looks like our cover’s blown. We really should have known! (I love when I unintentionally rhyme) Cinnamoroll pops in and out like a ghost, of course he was going to find out.
He really is! 🥺 He told us that he didn’t want anything special for his birthday, but we must do a little something!
The plan is to hang out with Cinnamoroll for a bit and maybe get an idea of what we could do for his birthday.
Badtz-maru was confused why Cinnamoroll wasn’t doing anything special for his birthday. Don’t worry, we’ll come up with something!
Hence, the magical mailboxes! It really is the perfect gift/way to celebrate Cinnamoroll’s birthday. His everyday routine includes traveling through the mailboxes, so he’ll get to see little birthday surprises throughout the day! 🥰

Aaaand this is where I come in! There are some spare parts for the Espresso machine down at the Comedy Club. I could use a little swim!
Hangyodon is actually pretty funny, you just need to get to know him better. 😆

So the spare parts are locked in some cabinet and Keroppi is the one with the key. I’m sure Keroppi will be here any minute…
Ouch, kind of mean. Oddly, I think Hangyodon is funniest when he’s not performing.

You guys are just a bunch of silly little boys and I’m here for it. 🤣 I don’t want any part of it, but sounds epic! Although, I do wonder how Chococat would react if he found out. Would he know a way to raise the Sunken Ship? Or would he try to convince you to not do it? Actually, he would probably think it’s a bad idea at first, but then come up with the best idea ever to raise the ship. 😂

Oh man, my favorite part of this quest is coming up. I don’t know what Kuromi was on (no coffee and probably a lot of annoyance and agitation), but she was HILARIOUS. I normally wouldn’t include this much dialogue, but it was too good not to include!

Even HK is entertained. I just love how no one is even phased by her mean sarcasm. That’s just our Kuromi!
Yay, the Espresso machine seems to be working! I made Kuromi a Spicy Pumpkin Latte. Fingers crossed it tastes good.

Flower Power
My Melody has no time to water plants because she’s a workaholic, so I offered to water them for her. 😙

So not only do these tiny buds blossom into gorgeous flowers, but they spit out a little gift as well! These plants are all over the entire island…. looks like I know what I’ll be doing now for the next few days! There’s something really relaxing about doing a repetitive task. 😅

Fish Fashion
Chatting with Tuxedosam… it seems like he wants to do some island exploring?
I can definitely relate. I’m super indoorsy as well! However, in HKIA, I suppose I’m an outdoor kid? I rarely step foot inside my cabin now that I think about it. Wow, I guess I’m always outside. I mean, if teleportation existed in the real world…. that’s all I’m saying.
He suggested we go fishing! I must admit, I’ve only ever gone fishing when I had to for a quest. I’m not sure why, but it’s not something that appeals to me very much in this game. At least it’s pretty easy to do!
Badtz-maru knows a thing or two about fishing and being outdoorsy!

Well, I’m glad fishing gave you some inspiration. This reminds me a lot of when My Melody and I went island exploring. She was so eager to get back to work. Maybe you two should hang out. You definitely have at least one thing in common! 😄
