That rhymed! π So, I figured a tour of my Christmas/winter island decor would be best at night because everything looks better since it’s mostly lights! Wow… I can’t believe I rhymed again. I’m on a ROLL!!!!!! Anyways, I feel like even the frozen sculptures look better at night! They definitely glow. π
Before we begin, we can’t start the post without…..β¨Christmas Outfit of the Day!β¨ π₯³
Here we have a light blue sweater with a beautiful snow scenery, including a cute little snowboy. π I paired it with a light gray checkered school skirt, black fishnet tights, brown velour boots, and a pretty updo hairstyle. It’s nice to change the hair up a bit!
I guess we can start the tour right outside my house! I’ve been obsessed with these illuminated snowflakes since the moment I got the DIY recipe four years ago. I have a bunch scattered all throughout my island. I figured a pink one would be perfect among all of my pink flowers. π₯°
I love the illuminated trees as well! I think this rainbow one might be my favorite color (if rainbow can be considered a color π€ͺ). Also, if you look on the left side far behind me, there’s a pink frozen mini snow person!
The bridge that connects to the center of the island will always have an arch, which changes according to the time of year, of course. π I will say, I’m a little surprised that there isn’t a festive arch! This frozen arch is very wintery so it’s perfect for December, however, it would be super cute if there was an arch decorated with lights and ornaments!!! Just saying. πββοΈ
Another stunning illuminated tree! This one is right in front of the plaza. I’m sure it’s wonderful to look at when leaving Resident Services π (you’re welcome Tom and Isabelle!).
Look! A three-tiered snow person! Right near the entrance of the airport. I thought it would be cute to have this snow person greet anyone who’s entering the island!
Cozy little campfire right on the beach. π βοΈ
I told you I have illuminated snowflakes everywhere! They are for sure my favorite winter/festive decor. Hi purple frozen mini snow person. ππ»
Ohhh, so there is one thing that I never had until right now! Well, I think I’ve had this DIY recipe for years, but I just never paid attention to it. π And what a shame, because this ornament garland is just so pretty!
I might need to add a few more on my island!
While snapping some pics, I encountered a tarantula. π¨ Happy to report that I caught it and no Alis (the plural version of my name looks so weird lol) were harmed in the making. π
Okay, but this bear frozen sculpture is everything? I wish there were more animal ice sculptures. π€
Wow, I forget every year how pretty the illuminated reindeer is! *adds to the list of “DIYS to make more of and place around the island”*
That pretty much sums up my festive island decor. It’s mostly illuminated snowflakes and three-tiered snow persons (I didn’t show every single one). I don’t go too crazy because if you do, that means you have to spend just as much time rearranging and putting everything away. The worst part! π€£ I really love keeping it simple. π
And now, it’s time for β¨Throwback Christmas Post of the Day!!!β¨
in Seafoam**** π
See you tomorrow!
