So…. I have an idea! (truly the best four words ever π ) Last night, I was listening to some Christmas music when the song “Mele Kalikimaka (Hawaiian Christmas Song)” came on! As I was listening to it, all I kept thinking of was the sunshine and warm water. Yes, I’m one of those crazy people that enjoy winter and snow, but a little daycation to a tropical island sounds really amazing right now…. and that’s exactly what I’m going to do!
How lucky that I get to enjoy warm weather with just a short plane trip away! ππ»
Before we head off βοΈ, it’s β¨Christmas Outfit of the Dayβ¨
I definitely went for the festive but very-comfortable-for-a-plane-ride outfit. This red and green sweater has such a fun design. I’m also wearing black cropped pants, beige faux-shearling boots, and some black tortoise specs! Oh, and I have my backpack of course! My orange, chick backpack from my mom. π
Goodbye cold and gloomy weather! (I still love you)
Half an hour until boarding….
I forgot that you can buy stationary here. Maybe I should send some letters. It’s been so long!
~ Two hours later ~
Ahhhh, this is…. wonderful. π You ever thought that’s why we have seasons? So we can appreciate each one even more!?
πΆ Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas day….
….that’s the island greeting that we send to you from the land where palm trees sway πΆ
Don’t mind me, I’ll just be sitting here under a palm tree enjoying the sound of the waves. ππ»
Later that day, when I came back home, I made a small adjustment: the hula doll would now be a part of my Christmas decor. π
β¨Throwback Christmas Post of the Day β¨
Ah, the good ol’ days when Reese and Cyrus has a shop in New Leaf called Re-Tail. It was basically a flea market where you could sell your items, with Reese determining how much they would be worth (hence the Reese reference π).
See you tomorrow!
