If there’s one thing we will never have a shortage of, it’s birthdays! What else can you expect if you have so many lovely friends. 🤗 Pompompurin’s birthday celebration was very “him” and by that I mean PUDDING!!! Other than that, everything else revolved around…. the ocean… and fishing… and more fishing!? So basically, Pochacco and I helped Retsuko face her swimming-in-the-ocean fear, Badtz-maru and I became the world’s best anglers, apparently (his words, not mine!), and I got to fish for the first time in Cloud Island! Btw, the fish in this game have the most amazing names. Moonla? Starlight Floater!? A Nebula Peeper!?!? Okay, I’ll calm down now. Let’s just get into the post!

Ah, I was sort of close! That sounds like a wonderful idea. The Dessert Boat is probably my favorite shop in this entire game. The pastel, retro diner interior gives me life! 😂 Oh, and not to mention that this ice cream shop just happens to be a boat!

Badtz-maru and I headed down to Seaside Resort to catch some fish! I’m getting pretty good at it! (I still rarely ever do it 😆)

More fishing! Only this time, in a new location! I’ve never been fishing on Cloud Island.
Yes Kiki, it’s rainbow bridge time! After I gave Kiki his three starfruit to get his energy back, we rode the cloud carts to another undiscovered part of Cloud Island.

Done and done! Why do I feel like there’s a catch….
Well, there wasn’t exactly a catch, but it did take me a hot minute to catch a Huge Moonla (Badtz-maru wants a huge one, not a regular one).
As you can see in the photo above, the pond where I caught this Moonla wasn’t the star pond! You must go to the second level and catch one in the circle pond. It still took me a few tries to catch a huge one. 😅
