Mount Hothead, Mermaids, Chickens, and Comedians 🐓

If this was a TV episode, this would be one of those episodes where SOOO much happens; A new character gets introduced, a mystery gets solved, everyone’s lives are forever changed, the comedian panics but does an amazing job at his first show, multiple outfit changes, chasing chickens… I mean, could this episode get any crazier!? There’s a lot of ground to cover so let’s just start. Hold on to your knickers! (I really hope someone reading this knows where this is from 😅)

I decided to wear this White Plaid Dress and these cool White Wayfarers Sunglasses as my outfit today… or so I thought!

`Meeting Retsuko at Mount Hothead`

Today just felt like the right time to go to Mount Hothead and finally meet Retsuko. I would always see it (and her!) on my map, but it never felt right because I was too busy exploring Gemstone Mountain AND I barely even started exploring Rainbow Reef and the rest of the ocean! Now that I’ve explored a lot of Gemstone Mountain (especially after today 😆) and the ocean as well, I think I can add another friend and location onto my plate!

What a cutie patootie! I can’t wait to go on adventures with you Retsuko! I’ll be back soon.

New materials I can start collecting: Toasted Almond, Cinna Bloom, Magma Bloom, Iron, and Obsidian Shard. 👏🏻

Woohoo! Activating new mailbox locations is so satisfying. I also activated the Hot Springs Mailbox.

Speaking of Hot Springs, I found this while exploring! Can we get this fixed!? I want to go surfing! Chococat….

I wanted to start off with Friendship Quests and then move on to the Story Quests. That’s kind of how it started…. but then everything kind of got jumbled together. 😆

`For The Sake of Rockadoodlers`

Darn tootin’! I don’t think I have! 🤠 😂

Here, here! So basically, Pekkle wants me to catch six Rockadoodlers so we can keep them here at the Corral. This will unlock a mini game where you have to catch Rockadoodlers. 😊 Pekkle told me that they come out in the morning so in the meantime, I’ll just go meet up with Pochacco! I wonder what he wants….

`ANOTHER Pochacco Jog`

He wants me to go running with him… AGAIN! 😣 I’m still recovering from the bog jog and now he wants to do a desert dash!!!!

*sigh* Might as well try to enjoy this. Hey, I can collect materials like I did during our bog jog!

Oh and while running, I discovered this Zipline Switch to Mount Hot Head. Yay!

Instead of running, can I be in charge of the snacks?

Pochacco wanted me to make him a soda after our run! 😆 I guess it’s all about balance. Running might not be my favorite activity, but I love spending time with Pochacco and I appreciate how much he cares about everyone’s well being. 🙂

`Reviving the Oasis!`

So quick funny story haha: I was trying to catch Rockadoodlers with no success, so I did a little internet research and found out that if you ask Keroppi to hang out with you, that it somehow will attract Rockadoodlers!? I guess that makes sense since Keroppi is the Critter King, after all. Aaaanyways, I also read that wearing your Critter Catcher Outfit can help! I don’t have the shirt but I’ve got everything else. I always somehow end up wearing this hat. 😙 I went to go find Keroppi and I forgot that he was already waiting for me to start the “Revive the Oasis” quest. So yeah, in case you’re wondering why I changed my outfit and why I’m already onto a different quest! 😆

Sure! I’m always down for an adventure. (btw why am I practically kissing Keroppi 🤣)

My Melody showed up! The more, the merrier. 🥰

We stumbled upon a giant boulder, blocking this cave entrance.

Not only did we find another entrance, but we also found…. Chococat!? In a cave, waiting for an adventure!? It can’t be!! 😆

That makes sense.

Time to go craft this Pickaxe! Oh, I bet now I can find the Volcano Critter List. 🙃

On my way to the crafting table, I was able to catch a Rockadoodler! 👏🏻

You need 10 Woodblocks and 3 Ingots! Luckily, I already had Ingots and I just needed to craft a few Woodblocks.

Aaaaand back to destroying these boulders! You have to break four boulders. To say I’m exhausted would be an understatement. That jogging-climbing workout with Pochacco, and now this!? 🤣

Right!? I can’t believe this all used to be a desert and now it looks like Seaside Resort! And best of all, Pompompurin’s Dessert Boat is now a functioning boat. 🤭

`A Mermaid and Comedian in One Day`

Oh no, Haagen-Dazs has a dilemma: He wants to perform at his comedy club, but no one can come because it’s underwater. 🤔 Yep, this is the “Comic Relief” quest.

Yay, I get to be a mermaid!

My dreams came true. 😇

Now we have to get everyone else to turn into a mermaid. Hmmm, who could possibly have the knowledge to be able to do this….. 😝

Chococat coming to the rescue for almost every story quest will never get old. 😂

Okay, this is really cool. The third option is my exact thought; This island really has a bit of everything!

So in order to power up this Mermaidifier…. you guessed it, we need to find Power Crystals! Three blue Power Crystals. 😉 Time to whip out the Power Crystal Sensor!

I found one in the Kelp Maze (new mailbox location!), and another deep inside a trench, not far from the Pirate Ship. The third one was inside the Pirate Ship! I completely forgot that you could go inside of it. 😅
