Surviving the Haunted Mansion, Gemstone Mountain, and That Damn Snorkel! 🤿

Hello, hello! I’m happy to report that I discovered a new location and met some new characters. 🤗 Oh, and I FINALLY was able to get the snorkel! That sure took a minute.

So in my last post, I mentioned that I would be playing everyday to collect materials, buy event items, and give gifts to level up friendships. Well…. I did do that, but I somehow ended up doing the “Re-Haunt the Spooky Swamp” quest. If you know anything about that quest, you know that it’s probably the longest one in the game, up until this point. And here I was, thinking I just need to reach level 6 with Kuromi to get the snorkel plans. 😅 I really thought this quest was later on in the game!

Aaaanways, (I will forever spell ‘anyways’ like this, thanks to Keroppi haha) once I started the quest, there was no going back! Also, I have to be honest, I really did not have the mental capacity to dedicate an entire blog post to this quest. Too chaotic. Sorry not sorry. 😂 But here’s a quick rundown with photos:

The moment I realized I was really doing this. This is truly an accurate representation of how Kuromi feels vs. how I feel. 😆

Once you’re inside the Haunted Mansion, you must go to every single room (there’s 10 in total!) and figure out the different puzzles. The last few rooms might give you a migraine.

The next part of the quest is to go on a relaxing, little roller coaster ride! What a nice way to relieve some stress. 🤗

Oh, and while you’re on this Ghost Coaster, you have to make a few stops and find the switch to light up a few areas, which are covered in fog. 😬 It’s still much more relaxing than the Haunted Mansion!

I was really feeling myself in this Spooky Witch Outfit!

When the last lamp is turned on, it will open up this Treasure Cove, which will have the Spooky Witch Hat! The Spooky Witch Dress can be found on the first floor of the Haunted Mansion. You need this outfit to convince the Witch Nul to let you go past the entrance, so you can finally insert the last power crystal! 👏🏻

This might be useful to know. TOPHAT is an interesting character, that’s for sure.

I did it, I survived this quest! 🏆

Oh yeah, I also did this super easy quest (Terra Nul quest), so now I can ask the Nul by My Melody’s shop to collect items for me each day. Woohoo!

Snorkel Plans

How very Titanic of you Kuromi!

I just really love Kuromi’s excuse as to why she can’t get the locket herself. I should have said this when I was dragged into the Haunted Mansion!!!

So once Kuromi lets you borrow her snorkel, you can go find her locket.

Don’t forget to grab a Spinip while you’re down there! 😄

You thought it would be this easy huh? You thought Kuromi would just give you her snorkel!?!?!? (I did)

Hmmm. The Spark is no problem, but where can I find another Ingot? Perhaps Gemstone Mountain!? I just fixed the zipline that goes there… I guess the time has come!

Pompompurin

It’s Pompompurin! He runs this Dessert Boat and I’m kind of obsessed. I can’t wait to start using the Dessert Machine.

Anyways, that was a quick introduction because now I’m heading back to Seaside Resort to once and for all, craft the snorkel! Plus, once I do, I can dive underwater for some coral milk (and a bajillion other things), which I can give to Pompompurin to level up our friendship. 🙂 Did I mention he has a Dessert Machine!?
